Cavities & Fillings

Cavities are the most common oral health issue in America. Untreated tooth decay can result in a cavity, which must be treated with a filling in order to prevent further complications, such as tooth infection. We offer both metal-amalgam and composite fillings at our office to ensure that every patient gets the treatment required to meet their unique needs.

Repair Damaged or Missing Teeth

Crowns & Bridges

Dental crowns are tooth-shaped dental prostheses that are designed to fit over your tooth and cover up the entire chewing surface. Usually, they are recommended if your tooth has been seriously damaged by decay or an oral injury. The tooth is trimmed and a custom crown is built and bonded to it permanently to restore the tooth’s natural shape and appearance.

Dental bridges are a related treatment. Bridges consist of two dental crowns that attach to healthy “abutment” teeth and suspend a false tooth (pontic) in the gap where your missing tooth used to be.

Save Infected Teeth

Root Canal Therapy

Untreated tooth decay and oral injuries can weaken your enamel and lead to the infection of the interior “pulp” that supports your tooth. Root canal therapy is used to remove the infected tooth material and fill the space with a special dental substance that will protect the structure of your tooth. Root canal therapy will save your natural tooth and eliminate the symptoms of an infected tooth, such as a severe toothache and radiating pain.

Remove Painful Teeth

Tooth Extractions

In some cases, it may not be possible to save a tooth with root canal therapy or another restorative treatment. In these cases, we offer pain-free, gentle extractions in Laguna Hills, and we can extract your damaged tooth to prepare you for a replacement such as a partial denture, bridge, or implant.

Permanently Restore Missing Teeth

Dental Implants

Dental implants are small, titanium posts that are surgically implanted where your missing tooth used to be. Over time, surgery site heals and the implant bonds with your natural jaw and gum tissue. Essentially, the implant functions as an artificial tooth root. The implant can then be used to support a dental crown, or multiple implants can be used to support dental bridges or implant-supported dentures.

Replace Lost Teeth

Partial & Full Dentures

Partial dentures can restore multiple missing teeth. These dental prostheses consist of false teeth attached to a metal and plastic framework. The framework attaches to your remaining healthy teeth to suspend the false teeth in place. Partial dentures are very affordable and allow you to restore your smile quickly.

Full dentures, which replace the upper arch, lower arch, or both arches of your teeth, are usually only recommended for patients who have lost most or all of their natural teeth. This is because full-arch dentures require all of your remaining teeth to be extracted.
